Leigh & Johns Wedding 3rd October 2009

Here's a wee peek at Leigh & John's wedding. It was an overcast, patchy rain, typically Auckland day. I love these days, as the light is so soft, and I have fun working with the moody skies.

Probably one of my favourites - they were so unaware of the camera.

This group shot was taken quite soon after the ceremony. My favourite part of the whole day - smiles are ear to ear.

I couldn't help but notice how serious the little ones were during the ceremony.

This dress was incredible - Chris (I need to get her contact details!) made this dress, the feathers were stitched onto the dress by hand, and Chris was even stitching the dress up to fit as Leigh was getting into it. The result was spectacular.

The bridesmaids dresses were something I've never seen before. The detail of the front of the dresses worked so well with the feathered dress.

Thanks for having me Leigh and John. It was such a fun day for me. Also - it was just great to see you Anne and James (married 1st May 09).
